The Heroic Shirt

The Heroic Shirt
This "heroic" share.it.tee. was designed by a heroic kid named Connor Cruse who fought for his life. As he battled, Neuroblastoma, "two dragons inside him", everyone around him witnessed his heroism, and the faithfulness of his family.
Connor, age 8, drew the design on this special edition shirt.

Connor endured over 220 nights in the hospital, more than 40 blood transfusions, about 2-dozen platelet transfusions, 25 rounds of chemo, 14 surgeries, two bone marrow transplants and countless procedures with visits to specialists in Boston, New York, Houston, Dallas and Guatemala. Yet he didn’t complain. He was a fighter to the very end. When he checked into Children’s Medical Center about 10 p.m. July 9, doctors said he had about two hours to live. Connor took his last mortal breath at 4:47 p.m. July 10, 2009.

We miss him, and we recall his message to others fighting pediatric cancer, "have courage, and believe in Jesus."

His story and his family are an unbelievable inspiration and are still fighting for pediatric cancer research through TeamConnor.

50% of profits from the Connor Cruse Heroic Share.it.tee. will go to TeamConnor.

  1. I personally think tht Connor's mother is a truly heroic person. She has steadfastly remained strong for Connor and the rest of her family and friends. With so many obstacles in her path, I admire her and honestly don't know how she has done it. I'm proud to say that she is my friend. I am blessed for knowing her.

  2. I completely agree. Joy and Tait have been the most incredible examples of faithfulness that I have ever seen with human eyes.
